Standard TTC-NPS

Standard TTC-NPS are used for total colony count of mesophilic, heterotrophic bacteria in water, wastewater and for pure cultures. Standard TTC-NPS is a universal medium supplemented with TTC, which is metabolized to red Formazan by most microorganisms. The red color of the colonies facilitates the determination of the colony count, because of the contrast against the membrane. The medium is manufactured and quality tested in compliance with ISO 11133:2014 standard.
